Ordering

Upon placing an order through this website, the form of payment is only authorized to be available by the selected payment option. Orders are placed on a brief hold until being reviewed and the funds captured, typically within 1 business day of receiving the order. Depending on the payment provider, the transaction may show from “MOTODEMIC” or “DEMIC INC.”.

International orders are welcomed, we highly recommend researching any import taxes or fees you may incur PRIOR to placing your order. MOTODEMIC is not liable to cover ANY customs or brokerage fees.

Orders placed on Saturdays, Sundays or Federal Holidays, regardless of day or time, will begin processing on the following business day in the order they are received. If an item is out of stock or an order needs to be verified, the order will remain on hold until ready for shipment. We do our best to keep everything in stock and ready to ship. If a product is out of stock, it is either being manufactured or in route to our location.

We cannot process a price adjustment for a promotion code that was not valid when an online order was placed. Further, any promo codes applied to your original purchase must still be valid in order to apply them to the new sale price. Previous purchases are not eligible for price adjustments during the time of a sales event and/or the week following.

Shipping

The rates calculated during checkout are based on your location and items ordered. We ship to anywhere in the world, or at least where carriers provide, using UPS or USPS in special circumstances. Upon processing of your order, items are typically shipped within 1-2 business days unless otherwise noted on the product page or site banner or you are contacted directly.

Tracking information is sent to the email address provided by you on the order and available in your account once the order is marked completed. Please allow up to 24 hours for the tracking number to provide information on the carrier’s website.

Orders can be picked up at our location, 450 W LARCH RD STE 10 TRACY CA 95304, during normal business hours or by appointment.

Once the order has been delivered by the carrier, you are responsible for it. MOTODEMIC or the shipping carrier is not liable if your package gets stolen from your porch, backyard, lockbox, etc… If you feel that your delivery location is not suitable or you know you will not be home to receive the package, please request Signature Required in your order notes. A fee of $3.00 will be added to your order, and your shipment will have to be signed for or picked up at a local carrier location if you choose.

If the shipper returns an order to us because it was undeliverable or because of unpaid import taxes/fees, you will be responsible for any new shipping costs and fees. If those costs and fees exceed your original order total, you will be billed for the remaining owed.

International orders sent via USPS – Once USPS has delivered the package to the destination country’s customs, it is out of their hands. If you are concerned about transit times, please contact us to see if there are other options. This is why we prefer and only offer UPS as a shipping option.

Cancellations

Orders that are placed and then canceled completely may incur a processing fee (3-4% of the order total) to cover the credit card processing fees that we are not able to get back from the credit card processor. We are simply passing this cost on to you. Please contact us prior to ordering if you have any questions about what you are ordering.

Returns and Exchanges

MOTODEMIC must receive returns and exchanges within 30 days from the received date. If 30 days have gone by since you received the items, unfortunately, we can’t offer you a refund or exchange. To be eligible, items must be unused, uninstalled, and in the same condition as received.

To request a return or exchange all or some of the items from your order, please contact us via phone, 209-346-7433, or email, hello@motodemic.com, to be issued an RMA number. ALL RETURNS and EXCHANGES MUST HAVE AN RMA NUMBER. You are responsible for all shipping costs associated with getting your order returned. You have the option of using the carrier of your choice to return your order to us. We recommend shipping with a method including tracking and insurance for your return. We can provide the option of printing out a pre-paid UPS shipping label at the shipping rate for your items. This fee will be deducted from your total refund amount.

Non-Returnable or Exchangeable Items:

  • Gift Certificates
  • Clearance Items
  • Wheel Sets
  • Turn Signals/ Resistors/ Relays/ Harness Adapters – We cannot offer any sort of warranty or take them back in any other condition than new, unused, or if the seal has been broken. Unfortunately, this includes signals that may have been working fine and have stopped.

Return Shipping

After you’ve received your RMA number, pack the items in a safe secure box (preferably in the packaging you received them). We cannot stress this enough, it is your responsibility to make sure the items do not get damaged in shipping due to poor packaging. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund. If you are shipping an item over $75, you should consider using a trackable shipping service or purchasing shipping insurance. We don’t guarantee that we will receive your returned item.

Refunds

Once your return is received and inspected, we will send you an email to notify you that we have received your returned item. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your refund. If you are approved, then your refund will be processed, and a credit (minus shipping and fees) will automatically be applied to your original method of payment, within 7 days. It may take up to 4 days for the refund to show in your banking activity.

There are certain situations where only partial refunds are granted:
Any item not in its original condition and packaging (new and uninstalled), is damaged or missing parts for reasons not due to our error.
Any item that is returned more than 30 days after delivery.
Any item damaged due to poor repackaging.

If your items are found to be opened or used and your return is accepted, even after the above-listed situations, it is subject to a minimum 25% restocking fee.

Exchanges

If you decided to place a new order and receive a refund (minus shipping) for the first order, the first order is processed the same as a return. If you decided to wait until your original order was returned to us, we will send you an email or call to notify you that we have received your items for exchange. We will also notify you of the approval or rejection of your exchange and your store credit amount.

There are certain situations where only partial credits are granted:

Pre-Orders

We sometimes offer pre-orders for products that have made it through our development and found to be useful to the community. Pre-orders are just like a standard order and you are charged when your order is processed. Your order will most likely ship on or before the date shown on the product page. This is not a guaranteed date and you will be notified of any delays that may come up during manufacturing. We do not offer pre-orders on products that are still in the prototype phase, only products that have been fully developed and ready to manufacture.

When you purchase something from our store, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you give us such as your name, address and email address. When placing an order you are giving us permission to send you emails regarding your order details and marketing emails about our store, new products, and other updates.

When you browse our store, we also automatically receive your computer’s internet protocol (IP) address in order to provide us with information that helps us learn about your browser and operating system.

We may disclose your personal information if we are required by law to do so or if you violate our Policies or Terms of Service.

SECTION 4 – Godaddy

Our store is hosted by GoDaddy Operating Company, LLC. They provide us with hosting for our online e-commerce platform that allows us to sell our products and services to you.

Your data is stored through GoDaddy’s data storage, databases, and the general WordPress application. They store your data on a secure server behind a firewall.

SECTION 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES

In general, the third-party providers used by us will only collect, use and disclose your information to the extent necessary to allow them to perform the services they provide to us.

However, certain third-party service providers, such as payment gateways and other payment transaction processors, have their own privacy policies in respect to the information we are required to provide to them for your purchase-related transactions.

For these providers, we recommend that you read their privacy policies so you can understand the manner in which your personal information will be handled by these providers.

In particular, remember that certain providers may be located in or have facilities that are located a different jurisdiction than either you or us. So if you elect to proceed with a transaction that involves the services of a third-party service provider, then your information may become subject to the laws of the jurisdiction(s) in which that service provider or its facilities are located.
