Description

Woodcraft Clip-Ons for 2001-2015 Triumph Thruxton or Bonneville with the 1-inch hand controls.

These Woodcraft split clip-ons are specially designed to make installation and removal a snap. The multi-piece design is race proven and makes it easy to service your clip-ons below the triple clamp without having to disassemble the entire front end.

Special attention has also been taken to save weight wherever possible on these clamps and they come with 12-inch bars. Racers no longer have to worry about replacing an expensive complete clip-on assembly after a crash – these risers use an inexpensive universal handlebar.

The rise amount is over a zero rise clip-on, not a rise over your stock bars. This clip-on will give you the ability to have a race style clip-on assembly with the option to get the bars up higher for rider comfort. We have found the 2.5-inch rise (shown) is very close to the stock Thruxton’s handlebars.

Fitment Notes:

  • Your stock headlight ears/mounts go over the fork tubes that the Clip-Ons attach to. Replacing the headlight brackets is necessary.
  • Does not fit carbureted Thruxtons up to 2008 that come with clip-ons as those have 7/8-inch bars and hand controls.

Bought these a couple of weeks back after contemplating making the switch for 3-4 years. I had previously added a Motodemic lay-flat gauge bracket to my 2013 Thruxton, and I wanted to complete the low, lean, cafe look.

Bought some aftermarket headlight ears and a rectifier relocator to unclutter the area beneath the gauge cups. Bolted it all up and man, am I happy!

The Woodcraft clip ons (1-1/2″) are perfect — well-made, well-designed, well-finished. Controls swapped over without a hiccup, and the bike looks like a cafe bike should. Lovely handling, lower frontal area (I’m 6’4″!). It’s all good.
